Fauji Fertilizer Company Limited (FFC) has been honored at the 11th International Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) Awards 2025, organized by The Professionals Network, in the category of “The Foundations of Process Safety.”
This prestigious recognition acknowledges the collective efforts of FFC Goth Machhi (GM), Mirpur Mathelo (MM), and Port Qasim (PQ) sites in establishing strong foundations of process safety across all operations. It reaffirms FFC’s unwavering commitment to EHS excellence, risk management and sustainable operational integrity.
🔥 Bravery in the Line of Duty
A massive fire broke out near the Mirpur Mathelo By-Pass. The FFC Mirpur Mathelo Firefighting Team promptly reached the site and successfully extinguished the HDPE-fueled blaze after four hours of continuous effort, saving lives and protecting community property.
In recognition of their timely and dedicated response, Dr. Rana Haseeb, Assistant Commissioner Mirpur Mathelo, presented a Letter of Appreciation to the FFC team.
This achievement reflects FFC’s strong commitment to public safety, teamwork and community service.
EHS Legal Gap Assessment Successfully Completed at FFC-GM, MM & PQ
As part of our unwavering commitment to Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) excellence, FFC Mirpur Mathelo (MM), FFC Goth Machi (GM) and FFC Port Qasim (PQ) recently conducted a comprehensive EHS Legal Gap Assessment at sites.
The assessment was independently executed by M/S SGS Pakistan, spanning three full days at each location, to thoroughly evaluate compliance with all applicable legal and regulatory requirements.
The initiative aims to develop a robust Legal Risk Register and ensure 100% alignment with regulatory obligations through a structured EHS Legal Action Plan.
This milestone marks a significant step toward proactive compliance, risk mitigation, and continuous improvement across FFC’s operations.
